There will not be a meeting in August.
Beginning in September there will be a change in the meeting night for a trial period. Meetings will be held on the third Wednesday of the month. Jack Kidd Council has a membership of approx. 300 and average attendance is now about 30. Perhaps there are members who cannot attend because of the weekend meetings. Now is the time to make your wishes known.

The gentlemen of Jack Kidd Council treated the ladies to a delicious salmon dinner with all the trimmings. An awesome dessert !!! they prepared this wonderful meal and served us in style.
We were certainly wined, dined and entertained. the men seemed to enjoy it all as much as we did. Thanks to Sandra Frees of Sandra's Fashions for providing lovely clothes for the Fashion Show.We girls had fun showing off the latest styles.
Thanks to Senior Counselor Tom Davidson and all the gentlemen members who made us feel so special. It was a great evening !!
Successful Events
Bro. Bernie Regenbogen,Chair of the Youth Comm organized
a Presentation Evening at the UCT Council Chambers on June 05.
Cheques were presented to representatives of Baseball Little
Leagues from River Valley, Kennebecasis Valley,Lancaster and the
newly combined Saint John Little League. Soccer Leagues from River
Valley and the Kingston Peninsula also received cheques.
Approx 15 members of Jack Kidd Council walked in the Relay for Life on June 06. The Happy Travelers were glad to have the UCT tent to shelter them from the cool night air!! Bro. Doug Henderson, Chair of Cancer Comm.reports that the start off parade of cancer survivors was well attended and the lighting of the luminaries was an emotional and beautiful part of the evening. Thanks to all who participated.

Followed by games, swimming, relaxing and BBQ.
Please bring your own lawn chair, sun lotion, bug repellent and anything else for your picnic pleasure.
