Car Dinner Winners
October 25,2007
Congratulations to Bernie Morrison, winner of the $5,000 Grand Prize at this year's annual Car Dinner. Dr. Bill Patterson was runner-up and won a 50" Panasonic Television. There were many other winners as well and all enjoyed a great meal and fun evening.
UCT Scholarship Recipients
Congratulations!!!
Seven successful applicants were awarded UCT Council 755 scholarships for 2007-08. The recipients were Mallory Burbridge, Jessica Cosman, Michael Flynn, Nicole McCarville, Caitlin O'Brien, Meghan O'Brien, and Jessica Shields. Each received $1430.00.

Presentation Evening
Bro Bernie Regenbogen, Youth Committee Chair, organized a very successful Presentation Evening at the UCT Center on Oct. 22.
Representatives of the hockey and basketball leagues were present to receive their cheques and meet with council members. A pleasant time of conversation with light refreshments followed the short program .
"Do Your Own Time"
Ross Mervyn from Sault Ste. Marie, ON, once again brought his program on drug awareness to the area. He visited several schools in Districts 6&8 , Portage Atlantic at Cassidy Lake, as well as the Rothesay and Saint John Police Departments. Over 1200 students heard his presentation.
Bro. Wes Cosman PSC, Chair of the Drug Awareness Committee organized Ross' visit and accompanied him .

Blood Donor Clinic
Council 755 sponsors an annual Blood Donor Clinic at the Blood Services on University Ave. Bro. Ron Steeves, Sentinel, is co-ordinating this event to be held on December 03, from 11am- 8pm. Bro. Ron would like a few
volunteers to help welcome the donors and serve the refreshments. He can be reached at 696-6000.
